Letter to the Present Moment

Posted on

The moment of now
It’s a gift somehow,
When it passes by
To me, it says ‘hi’.

But I don’t wave back
Lost as I am on some remote track,
And deep inside my heart
Pounds to say that she’s my brand new start.

To this moment, I tell
My life wants only hers spell,
No regrets to the lost moments rushing by
When I see her, I want to live life of those moments coming by.

“It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much. … The life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully.”

    – By Lucius Annaeus Seneca (often known simply as Seneca) (ca. 4 BC – 65 AD)
